Weather: Damp, Rainy and about 40

BOOK REVIEW: The Edible Rainbow Garden by Rosalind Creasy. Published 2000 by Preiplus Editions Limited

I came across this book in the Little Free Library at My Organic Market (aka MOM’s). I was drawn to the vibrantly colorful photos. This is a great book for the person who wants a visually nice, edible garden. It gives examples of how to set things up for color and size, along with how to prepare the garden, control pests and even recipes for various vegetables. The book explains why we need to eat veggies of alternative colors (purple carrots anyone?) and a good source to get them. I highly suggest that everyone should alt least browse this book and see if this is the way you want to garden.
